I can see that a lot of others dont, but their reviews seem to be mostly, Well I was there at lunchtime, and Im very busy and important, so I expected a clerk to open up a register ESPECIALLY FOR BUSY AND IMPORTANT ME! Honestly if people want a conciergestyle shopping experience, they should be shopping at the tiny overpriced markets in wealthy neighborhoods. This store IS a bit understaffed at times, but if customers understood the complexities of scheduling union employees for short shifts to cover busy times which the complainers clearly dont, they might be a bit less peevish. So yes spills happen occasionally, and long lines happen occasionally, but I have consistently found that my weekly shopping is a pleasant experience. Clerks wave friendly hellos in passing, greet me pleasantly at checkout, help me to locate unfamiliar items on my shopping list I occasionally shop for my neighbors who are too old to drive, and once reassured me immediately when I dropped a jar of honey with a shoulder hug, and an, Its okay everyone drops things sometimes! They are all just generally delightful! My favorite part? The Asian buffet. Its literally the ONLY one around. I go for the eggplant mushroom chicken dishes, and they are NOT stingy with either the eggplants OR the mushrooms OR the chicken! And no Im not a paid shill. Im just an ordinary little old lady who is also busy and important but never so busy that I dont appreciate how hard retail workers work to make everyone happy, and how much pretentious nonsense and verbal abuse they have to tolerate with a smile. ”

The guy in the produce could tell I was lost and asked me if I needed help so super friendly service. Very clean store. The produce is a little overpriced when you can get organic stuff at whole foods across the street for the same price but other than that I would go back. ”
